“Cannavaro set to bring Sydney to a standstill”Fourfourtwo
Every year the greatest five-a-side teams gather in Asia-Pacific to battle it out for the glory of Street Soccer Champions.
Sydney Harbour fills with entertainment including cage matches, panna futsal, street art battles, Brazillian dancers, gymnastic tricksters, and football royalty Fabio Cannavaro!
Umm Communications engaged us to capture the event in entirety, including Cannavaro’s secret visit to the oldest Italian community in Sydney.
They asked us to document the weekend of activities from b-boys, graffiti battles, Brazilian dancers, trickers, cheerleaders…and of course, the football tournament.
Over 30 games were played across the 2 day event and we were there to capture it all, working around the clock to capture everything from the set-up to breakdown.
The content was released online as a summary of the event to show investors what happened and give players a film to brag about their participation. We then re purposed content as a call out for the following years event players.
We created graphics, transitions and animated titles to align with the brand and event audience. This included an opening stinger and credit splash page used across all outputs.
The Tiger brand was always present through the video whether that be obvious product placement or more subtle colour selection.
The event had a variety of entertainment on the side which we captured to reveal the scale and spectacle of it all.
This included cage matches, panna futsal, street art battles, Brazillian dancers, gymnastic tricksters, and football royalty Fabio Cannavaro!
They liked what we did so much that they asked us to return the following year at their new headquarters in the home of Sydney Street Soccer, Marrickville.
